Fall Gala Season has begun! Did you know that Charity Auction | Charity Events | Galas have a season? Well, they do. Spring & Fall. Fall season for a busy Charity Auctioneer runs from September through Mid November. Spring Season is longer running from February through June.
As a Fundraising Auctioneer | Charity Auctioneer I always get nervous before each event, but even more so for the first event of the season. My first event of Fall 2016 was on Saturday night in Napa and boy, was I nervous. It was a new charity event for me and I didn't know what to expect. But as soon as I stepped on stage and had the mic in my hand, the nervousness all went away and I fell into my rhythm of interacting with the audience and raising money.
Saturday night was huge success and we blew by their fundraising goal of $75,000 and raised over $100,000. I couldn't be happier for the organization.
Looking forward to many more goal breaking charity auctions this year.
